The 2014 Iditarod season: pt. 2

This year, I was asked to work the trail checkpoint in Shaktoolik for a week as the mushers got ready to head across a stretch of Bering Sea. Prior to heading out on the trail, I was able to enjoy handling dogs at the official start in Willow and hanging out with dropped dogs in Anchorage.
