From Girdwood to Eagle River, up and over Crow Pass. Majority of the trip was shroud in an eerie mist, yet the sky opened up enough for us to enjoy a side trip to the toe of Raven Glacier, giving us a chance to explore the vivid blue ice spilling over a cliff's edge. The dogs enjoyed some free roaming, although by the third intensive river crossing, they were pretty keen to keep their paws on solid land.
