summer hiking chronicles no. 2: Bird ridge

Another local hike ~15 miles south of Anchorage. The steep steep climb takes you up to view point after view point with vistas of the ocean to the west and panoramic views of the Chugach Mountain range in all other directions. The freshly blooming spring crocuses and forget-me-nots (Alaska's state flower) added to the magic.
