two days with the dogs and the stories have piled up. the latest took place this very hot afternoon as i took them for a swim in the lake where we are attending matt's family reunion in washington...
i guess i was teasing her, pulling myself along in the shallows as griffin paddled after me. it became a bit of a game with her nipping the ruffles of my bathing suit bottoms while i tried to keep one stride ahead of her. but then she gained on me, and attempted to crawl on me. somewhere in the mix her nipping moved to my bathing suit top which with one tug she managed to undo. so as i tried to remain covered, laughing hysterically while attempting to swim out of her reach, griffin was more interested in receiving a piggy-back ride with her sharp claws, nippy mouth and all. it's been so much fun hanging out with the dogs again after a winter away!
