i have been lucky enough to score a small bit of office space with the ENR guys here in town. not only does this make internet access and charging all electronic items much easier, but it also means i get invited along on really cool stuff.
day one 'in the office' had me joining in on a few wolf necropsys,
day two 'in the office' had my field assistant and i on a three hour flight in a 4-seater plane searching for two stray bison and scoping out potential bat hibernacula sites.
and the rest, well those days have involved everything from hiking into bat caves to wading through swamps to set up bat detectors, not to mention sitting out under the northern lit sky while minding our bat-catching mistnet into the wee hours of the morning.
it's going to be a good summer!
