the bike has been parked, the jacket taken out from the back of my closet, and the toque has taken up its prominent position by the front door, ready to respond each time i step outside. it's kind of like being back in yellowknife last january, except here, i have a 35 minute walk to school to enjoy it all rather than a 3 minute walk to work. i just wish the dogs were here to pull me outside for their long daily walks at 6:00 each morning...
