stereotypically canadian

as we stepped off the freshly cleared pond, hockey skates in hand, heading back to our little houseboat frozen into the lake, we watched a local guy cruise past us on his dogsled. at that point, there wasn't much left to do but say, "pretty typical eh?". i'm sure matt's stories and photos from his ten day "spring break" in yellowknife full of dogsled races, -25C frostbite, evening skies full of northern lights and days full of pond-hockey, will do nothing but confirm the stereotypes his american colleagues already have of the canadian north...and rightly so i guess.
