this epic photo of daniel and jerry (my father and father-in-law) was taken on day four of a five day backpacking trip through the rocky mountains. if you squint really hard you will notice that they are both wearing shorts. it was the beginning of august, as well as bright and sunny when we initially arrived at the trailhead three days prior. despite soaking our socks and chilling us to the bone, the crazy snow storm sure made for beautiful photos the day of the summit.
